I am a self-taught artist from Evansville, IN who started drawing advanced at age 4. I acquired numerous accolades early on. For instance garnering a scholarship to the Chicago Institute of Art as a sixth grade student. With this as my beginning, I always knew I would use art to make a career for myself someday, but I never knew how I would use my skills or where. Fast forward to 27 years old, I decided to solely lean on my ability to draw, I jumped into freelance art, and made certain to keep an underlying tone of culture and greatness behind everything I created. I have always wondered why I was born in Evansville when my mother was born in Brooklyn, New York and my father was born in Los Angeles, California. It wasn’t until I made my way to Atlanta to make a name for myself that I found my answer: to see opportunity clearly. Strategically acquiring a job downtown next to the famous Tabernacle, CNN, and the World Famous Centennial Olympic Park, I grew my network in ATL with individuals from all walks of life. There I decided to give us representation in the fields of comics and animation, and I created ArtIsLife Studios LLC. I made a visit back home after spending a year there and determined to reshape my path by building a foundation in my hometown. To name a few, I have completed work for Evansville African American Museum, have been featured at the Old National Events Plaza, have showcased at events like Family Day at the Park, and have had work hosted at TRH Mortgage company. It has never been about fortune and fame for me. I’m from the south side of town where there isn’t much knowledge about business or assets passed down, at all. So I decided to break the generational curses, and made a name for myself city-wide in every sector. I will inspire greatness, teach art, exemplify understanding of one’s ability and infinite potential, and make the world a better place with what I love to do.
