Jenna Citrus is “one of Evansville’s top emerging artists.” Ms. Citrus explores different ways to create, but the digital image still remains the pinnacle of how and why she creates work. Her studio space has become an experimental zone for light and shadow that she sometimes reacts with paint. In 2018, she moved back to the body being her source of inspiration, and continues to use paint to react with the physical form.

While in Indiana, she has worked at New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art and at Studio B Photography. While at the University of Cincinnati she worked as a Graduate Assistant for Saturday Art and Public Art classes. Some of her exhibitions include: Immerse: projection exhibition at the Koch Immersive Theater, Process: solo exhibition of her Efroymson Fellowship at the McCutchan Art Center and Pace Gallery, An Eternal Breakfast in Bed: a group installation at the University of Cincinnati, and a solo exhibition at The Evansville Museum: Paint and the Body.
